He attained “Bodhi” or knowledge after six plus years of fasting and meditation. Buddha means the enlightened one. The statue is handmade in Nepal by the famous Sakya family statue makers, made completely out of one piece of lapis stone. The statue is 7 inches high, 5.5 inches wide, and 2 inches deep.
